About Lathan

To whom it may concern, My name is Lathan Britz I am currently looking for a full-time position as a web developer. When it comes to design, you could call me obsessed. I prefer the term "enthusiastic". My creativity, strong work ethic and confident approach to web design would bring a lot to your team. I would love to work with designers and developers who really "get it". While I'll labour over a single div in CSS, or pixel in Photoshop, I'm also able to think about a project in "big picture" terms (hopefully coming up with solutions for problems that might not have popped up until later). Using Drupal (CMS) and jQuery to produce a rich interface, getting design ideas into a working and living interface get me excited. I come from a Java background working at a large Corporate Bank, I have also been freelancing as a web designer/developer. The Java field is not providing the kind of satisfaction I'm looking for any longer, hence I'm turning my eyes to the web design world.
